"Exceptional"
Sweet motel, great location for walking to the historic main street, coffee shops, and dinner. Some reviewers complain that it's outdated, but everything was super clean, and in working order. Plus, the things that matter are updated, like combo USB/outlet charging on both bedside tables, comfy mattress. Appreciated the bigger fridge, microwave, and good coffee in-room. And, when you're on a long road trip, with lots of personal things stored in the car, the parking right outside the room is great, especially since it looks like management lives over the driveway entry. (No sketchy scene like is common with more affordable motels.)

Great location, can walk to restaurants, bars and cafes. Bed and pillows very comfortable, big, fluffy towels for the shower. Really nice big screen TV.

From the outside one might think it is old but the inside is true to picture. Spacious with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee. Good amenities, comfy bed

I was very surprised by this location. Because it is a motel and pictures, I was not expecting much. However, it was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and they had a nice continental breakfast. Oh, and I have an EV, and there was a charging station.

The staff was very nice and helpful. However, the hotel itself is incredibly old and unmaintained. Everything, virtually everything is old, yellowed, and worn out. The electricals are dangerous. The door seal was falling off the bathroom, had white caulk everywhere, and whoever did it didnt care what it looked like. It was slathered everywhere! The walls needed repainting, the vent was full of hair and dust, the water pressure was good, but the temperature was not hot enough. The hotel sits on a steep hill and was difficult to get into with my large pick up truck. I would rather pay more for a hotel that is reasonably maintained than to ever stay here again.
